Proposed JDWSRBI Scholarship Program

J. D. Williams, Sr. Bible Institute is considering establishing a limited scholarship program for first-time students preparing for vocational ministry. The proposed JDWSRBI Scholarship would be supported by donor generosity and a shared commitment to equipping ministers with a deeper biblical and theological foundation for lifelong Kingdom service.

The scholarship program remains under development. Its funding, eligibility requirements, participating programs, award amounts, application procedures, and implementation dates have not been finalized or formally approved. The information below describes the proposed structure and is provided for planning purposes only. It does not constitute an offer, promise, or guarantee of financial assistance.

Proposed Award

​

If finalized and funded, a limited number of JDWSRBI Scholarships may be offered to eligible first-time students entering qualifying master’s degree programs during a future academic year.

​

The proposed scholarship may cover tuition and designated institutional fees for up to nine credit hours during each approved semester of the award period. The final award amount, covered expenses, enrollment requirements, and duration will be determined before accepting applications.

All scholarship awards would be contingent upon:

​

• Availability of donor funding

• Final institutional authorization

• Admission to an eligible JDWSRBI program

• Compliance with approved scholarship requirements

• Satisfactory academic progress

• Continued compliance with Institute policies

 

Receiving an award during one academic year would not guarantee renewal or eligibility for future assistance.

Proposed Eligibility Requirements

​

If the program is approved, applicants may be required to:

​

• Apply for admission to an eligible JDWSRBI master’s degree program.

• Complete the official JDWSRBI Scholarship Application.

• Submit two letters of recommendation.

• Provide a letter of appreciation to the scholarship donor and a current photograph, if required.

• Receive formal admission to J. D. Williams, Sr. Bible Institute.

• Enroll in the minimum number of credit hours established by the final scholarship policy.

• Demonstrate a commitment to vocational ministry and Christian service.

• Satisfy all additional admissions, academic, and financial assistance requirements.

 

Final eligibility requirements and application procedures will be published if and when the scholarship program receives institutional approval.

Program Eligibility

​

The master’s degree programs eligible for scholarship consideration have not yet been determined. Certain programs may be excluded based on donor restrictions, program structure, enrollment status, or institutional policy.

A final list of participating and excluded programs will be published before the scholarship application period begins.

Proposed Selection Considerations

​

If implemented, preference may be given to applicants who demonstrate:

​

• An undergraduate cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher

• Relevant ministry experience

• Clearly defined vocational ministry goals

• Evidence of Christian character and service

• Documented financial need

• Potential for effective leadership and Kingdom service

 

Because scholarship funding would be limited, satisfying the minimum eligibility requirements would not guarantee selection.

Proposed Requirements for Maintaining the Scholarship

​

Recipients may be required to:

​

• Maintain the minimum enrollment established by the final scholarship policy.

• Maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined by JDWSRBI.

• Remain in good academic, financial, and institutional standing.

• Continue meeting all admissions and scholarship requirements.

• Complete required reports, acknowledgments, or donor-related documentation.

• Comply with the policies and standards of J. D. Williams, Sr. Bible Institute.

 

Scholarship funds would not be credited to a student’s account until all required admissions, enrollment, and scholarship documents had been received and approved.

 

Failure to maintain eligibility or satisfy established requirements could result in the reduction or cancellation of an award. Any forfeited scholarship could be offered to another eligible applicant.

All proposed terms are subject to review, modification, donor restrictions, and formal approval by J. D. Williams, Sr. Bible Institute. Additional information will be published when the program and its governing policies have been approved.
